About
More about me
I'm Rakesh Pamarthi, a Lead UX Designer in Hyderabad with about 12 years in the field.
Most of what I do is enterprise and AI products. I usually come in at the messy early stage, when it's still just a rough idea, and stay with it through wireframes, prototypes, and testing until people can use it without much effort. Product and engineering are in it with me the whole time. I like the moment a workflow that used to trip everyone up finally clicks.
My experiences
I've moved around between enterprise software, AI products, and earlier on, advertising. I'm always interested in new, exciting and challenging adventures.
MAR 2020 - PRESENT
Lead UX Designer, OpenText
I own design for AI products like Aviator, Aviator Studio, and MyAviator, plus enterprise platforms like AppWorks and Axcelerate. Day to day that means turning product requirements into flows and screens people can follow, and keeping the design system in shape so things don't drift across
JAN 2020 – MAR 2020
UX Designer, Nations Benefits
A short stint on the benefits products, working with the product team to clean up some of the everyday tasks users got stuck on.
MAY 2016 – JAN 2020
Visual Designer, SoCtronics
Designed flows, wireframes, and screens for web apps and enterprise tools. Also set the visual look across web and print, made logos and icons, and sat close to the developers so what shipped matched what I designed.
MAY 2014 – MAY 2016
Visual Designer, DoT Advertising
Made logos, ad graphics, and small business websites. A lot of the job was just talking to clients, figuring out what they actually wanted, and turning that into something their customers responded to.
